I tried to create a website by following the tutorials on Dreamweaver but I didn't understand it and found it really difficult to do. So I decided to use a free online website designer, I used 'Moonfruit'. Moonfruit is free to create a website but you have to have '.moonfruit.com' at the end of the web address, to get rid of that you have pay money. At the top of my website I have included my T-Shirt company logo. The background image of my website is an image that I have created on Weavesilk.

My website is a shop that sells Light Trails T-shirts. I used one of the templates on the Moonfruit website, the template that I used was a template for a basic online store. For the T-Shirts I got pictures of men and women modelling T-Shirts and then used Photoshop to put my designs onto the T-Shirts. The designs that I have used were either made on Weavesilk or they they are my own Light Trails photography. On my website I have shown that all my T-Shirts have been sold out so that no one will buy my T-Shirts.

As well as the shop page, there is an About page, this page is to simply give information about the website company. On my About I have explain that my website is for Project 5 - Website and Blog at college so all the T-Shirts are not really for sale. I have put a bigger version of my T-Shirt company logo. On this page, on the original template this page had text that was in Latin so I copied and pasted that text into Google Translate so I could turn it into english, i did this so that my About page look full, instead of having just a couple of lines.

There is also a contact page on the website, On the original template there was a Google Maps widget plus it had a generic address and a made up email also it had a another piece of Latin text which again i changed into english. For my website I used this page except it added 2 more widgets, a Youtube Widget and a Twitter Feed widget, but for some reason and i don't understand why but they wont show up on the actual website. Also I used made up email address for my company.

I found that the Moonfruit was pretty difficult to understand at first because I had never used Moonfruit but once I got used to it, it was easy.

Bad Website!

The bad website that I have chosen is a website called the Afterlife.

Afterlife is a bad website because it is just one page that simply has too many gifs!!!

You are not able to scroll on the page, the page scrolls up itself until it reaches the top, once it reaches the top you aren't able to do anything on the page.

The website uses too many gifs of babies, doves, Jesus and aeroplanes. Basically the website doesn't make sense really because why would there be priests and babies floating in mid air?

Theres even a golden Jesus floating in mid air!

'The Afterlife' kind of makes sense in the fact that hell is at the bottom of the page and the it has a lot of computer gifs, which I presume is meant to represent earth. then the rest of page is like the rising into heaven. But other than that the pages makes no sense at all.

If Im honest I don't understand why this website was created in the first place because the website clearly does not serve any purpose at all. The whole website is just pure drivel. 'The Afterlife' was actually voted worst website of 2012.

Personally I think that this website is just horrific!!!
